This is my final design for the Pixl Premiere Event for Francis Tuttle 3D Animation. The logo is colorful, clean, fun and age appropriate. I chose the colors because of our school mascot "Purple Duck" (which is a purple rubber duck with an orange beak). I chose the font BadaBoom BB because the font has a naturally animated quality about it. I created the purple duck in pixels to emphase the fact that this is indeed the "Pixl" Premiere. This logo is completely scalable as it was drawn in vectors in Illustrator and works well in both large and small formats, as well as in black & white.
PIXL PREMIERE FINAL LOGO
The project goal was to develop a logo for the Pixl Premiere which is a 3D Animation special event. The objectives were to create a clean, simple, fun, creative and versatile logo that can be used for a variety of purposes. The logo also must stimulate imagination, and reflect a spirit of excellence. The icon should be unique and appeal to male and female, ages 7 and up. The logo also should be a “Type-driven logo” that is “Motion Graphics” oriented and should appeal to an artistic crowd while communicating a keen sense of intelligence, personality, creativity, passion, and excellence.
